Official rules

Rules of entry

By submitting an entry you agree to these rules. Read them before you start.

Who can enter

Students who have completed, or will complete, secondary school (Grade 12, A-levels, IB or equivalent) by August 2027 and are aged 16 or over on the entry deadline.

Applying to a partner university

You must apply, through INUNI, for undergraduate entry to at least one of Florida Memorial University, The University of Akron or Avila University for the 2027–28 academic year.

One entry per student

Entries are individual. You may enter one track only. Duplicate entries will be removed and only the latest complete submission will be judged.

Original work

Your project must be your own work. Quote and cite any sources, datasets, code libraries or papers you used. Plagiarism leads to disqualification.

Using AI tools

You may use AI tools, but you must say which ones and what for in your report. Judges reward your own reasoning; undisclosed AI-written work will be disqualified.

Project report

PDF, up to 10 pages including charts and references, written in English. Include a one-paragraph abstract on the first page.

Video presentation

3 to 5 minutes, MP4 or MOV, up to 500 MB. You must appear on camera and explain the project in your own words. Slides and screen recordings are welcome.

Supporting documents

Upload your latest school transcript and the photo page of your passport or national ID. A teacher's recommendation letter is optional but helps your case.

Deadline

Entries, including your video, close on 19 October 2026 at 23:59 Jordan time (GMT+3). Incomplete or late entries will not be judged.

Judging and results

A panel from INUNI, Golden Path Study Abroad and the partner universities reviews every complete entry. Winners are announced on 22 October 2026 at 8:00 PM Jordan time. The panel's decision is final.

Prize conditions

To receive any prize, you must complete the university's standard admission process and submit every document it requires. Scholarships are offered by each university, are conditional on admission and enrolment, and are not transferable. No prize can be exchanged for money.

Flight tickets

One round-trip economy ticket from your home country to your campus, for travel at the start of your first semester. Tickets cannot be exchanged for money. Visas, insurance and other travel costs are your responsibility.

Use of your entry

You keep ownership of your work. You allow INUNI, Golden Path Study Abroad and the partner universities to show your name, project title and video excerpts to promote the Challenge.

Privacy

Your documents are used only to judge the Challenge and process your university application, and are shared only with the organisers and partner universities.

Questions

FAQ

Do I need to have applied to the university before I enter?

No. You can enter the Challenge and complete your university application with INUNI at the same time. You must have applied by the time winners are announced on 22 October 2026 to receive a prize.

Can I enter if I already finished school last year?

Yes, as long as you have not started a university degree and you are applying for first-year undergraduate entry for 2027–28.

My video is larger than 500 MB. What should I do?

Export it at 1080p or 720p, or use a free compressor such as HandBrake. A 5-minute 1080p video is usually well under 500 MB.

Does my project need code?

No. The Mathematics track can be entirely written work. In the AI and Data tracks, code helps, but a clear explanation of your method matters more.

If I win, can I choose a different university?

You choose your preferred university when you enter. Prize scholarships are paid by that university. Speak to your INUNI advisor if your plans change.

Who pays for my visa?

The flight prize covers one round-trip economy ticket. Visa fees, insurance and living costs are your responsibility. INUNI advisors can guide you through the student visa process.
